About A New Look

A New Look pays homage to Christian Dior's revolutionary 1947 collection. Fashion, as we have always known it in the present, is constantly aspiring to a "new look". But the inspiration for new collections and new trends is so often drawn from the past; past feelings, past looks, past ideas, past icons. The past seeps in to everything we do, consciously and subconsciously. This is why understanding the past, history, on personal, local and worldwide scales is so imperative to truly grasping and appreciating the lives we are living now.
